"Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid."

Reflection
Jesus' peace is not the world's peace. The world offers peace when circumstances are calm; Jesus offers peace in the middle of the storm. It is a peace that does not depend on the news, the bank balance or the opinions of others — it is anchored in His victory over every enemy, including death. You may not control your circumstances, but you can decide where your heart anchors. Let not your heart be troubled. He has already overcome the world.
Prayer
Prince of Peace, rule in my heart today. Quiet the noise, calm my fears, and let Your peace guard my mind. Amen.
