Prayer

Ask, Seek, Knock

Day 17

"Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you."
— Matthew 7:7
Reflection

Jesus gives His disciples three verbs — ask, seek, knock — and each one intensifies. Asking is simple; seeking is searching; knocking is persisting. God is not reluctant to answer; He is teaching you to want Him. Persistent prayer does not change God's willingness; it changes your readiness to receive. What have you stopped asking for? What door have you stopped knocking on? Bring it back to the Father today. He loves when His children ask.

Prayer

Father, I ask again for the desires of my heart, seeking Your will. I knock on doors only You can open. Answer according to Your wisdom and love. Amen.

Action Step

Revive one prayer request you have given up on.
